3. Beaching Point

This particular point has no common name but it is an area that we most commonly recommend for our customers to beach their kayaks on. Only 400 yards from our dock, this point is accessible at any tide level and provides a mud free, deep-water entry and exit. This point also is the shortest and easiest area to walk over to the beach on the other side of the spit. It is possible to see deer, fox, and other small mammals in this area as well as the ever-present variety of shorebirds.
